The Jungle Rat Band was led by musical man and creator Dwight Brewster/Dr. Mambo, whose musical knowledge allowed him to meet the diverse influences of Latin Jazz, Funk & Roll. With his JungleRat band members traveled around Latin America, the United States, and Europe to share their unique blend of Afro-Caribbean Jazz-Funk and Roll.

They did it by using their knowledge of Latin, Jazz, Funk & Roll plus worldwide dance rhythms. This is what made touring most of Central and parts of South America possible. The core "Rat" members still around after 40 years created Hai Rezoultion. After Ewald "Skip" Green, Quentin Luther, James Taylor and Dwight Brewster couldn't get arrested for playing Salsa we reverted back to our Afro-Caribbean Funk & Roll
Sherry Scott was the featured Hai Rez vocalist. Originally based in Chicago with an extensive Jazz history via her EW&F roots, Ms. Scott was a welcomed plus! Her voice was perfect for the high energy band sound.
JungleRat/Hai Rezolution were one of a kind bands. Known for their unique sound and swinging live performances, They've gone their separate ways after the reunion tour. However, after 50 years Dr Mambo continues the "Rats" musical legacy.
